Interim Finance Director job with our professional services client based in Glasgow. This is a new role for an initial 6-month period.

Reporting to the CFO, you will be responsible for:

• Driving the financial results and commercial activities of the business in Scotland, working closely with the leadership team
• Leading on the preparation of budgets and forecasts, as well as financial planning
• Reporting and presenting financial results to senior management and attendance at Board meetings
• Leading the finance team, delivering financial and credit control, financial operations and reporting, process improvement and driving commercial finance
• Cashflow management and forecasting
• Providing coaching and development support to direct reports and the leadership team
• Influencing and challenging senior leaders to drive commercial activities and culture
• Leading on the statutory year-end and liaising with external auditors
• Financial analysis, business cases, and integration of M&A activity
• Compliance with tax policies and other policies including credit

To apply, you will be a fully qualified accountant and experienced Finance Director with a background previously within a growing sme. You will have excellent stakeholder management skills and be able to challenge and influence senior leaders within the business. You will also have first-class commercial finance acumen.

Salary: £100,000 - £110,000 p.a. or day rate equivalent
