The projects are expected to attract significant investment and deliver substantial socio-economic benefits to the local and regional economy. They will submit their first planning application in the summer of 2022 for the Twyn Hywel Energy Park, located largely within a Pre-Assessed Area for Wind Energy in Southeast Wales. All of their sites can be generating power by 2028, helping to support the Welsh Government’s 2030 targets on the path to Net Zero.

The Commercial Analyst will work closely with the Commercial Director and Corporate Development Managers to assist with the value optimisation of the business’ existing portfolio as well as be responsible for the finance models for the portfolio of wind, solar & storage projects where the successful individual will manage and update project and market inputs to ensure assessments are kept fully up to date. Other key responsibilities include communicating investment opportunities, deal structuring, due diligence, building key relationships and develop opportunities to maximise value.

The successful candidate will be an effective technical thinker with strong analytical problem-solving skills, excellent attention to detail and a collaborative approach. The post holder will be highly numerate with a strong understanding of financial valuation concepts. The role will report into the Corporate Development Manager with exposure to the Directors.
