Description

Rutherford Cross is working with a Glasgow based financial services client. They are significant players in their market and have experienced a large amount of positive growth and change recently. As such, they are looking to add a Stress Testing Data Manager to the team.

The key responsibility will be leading a key data reporting team working on new regulatory requirements. This would offer a chance to help strategically shape a new area of the business.

A summary of some of the main duties are below:

  • Contributing to the overall successful delivery of the bank’s new regulatory requirements for the group with a focus on leading the data reporting team
  • Ensuring appropriate frameworks, controls and quality assurance exists to deliver accurate and complete data and reports to the regulator
  • Continually monitoring regulatory and developments in the regulatory data environment
  • Co-ordinate the data projections and ensure accurate data reporting
  • Ensuring that all elements of regulatory frameworks match the data requirements needed
  • Leading the continuous improvement of process and procedures with in the team
  • Building strong relationships with wider Leadership team

A summary of the key candidate requirements are as follows

  • A proven and successful track record of leading a data regulatory reporting team in a financial services environment
  • Previous experience managing complex end-to-end reporting processes with data sets and working with several different stakeholders
  • Ability to drive continuous improvement to end-to-end business processes and controls
  • Finance and banking background and/or professional accountancy qualification preferred but not essential
