Description

Rutherford Cross is delighted to be partnering with a fast-growing, family-owned FMCG business in Lanarkshire to appoint a 3-month FTC Purchase Ledger Clerk.

Key Activities and Responsibilities:

  • Coding and checking of purchase invoices for assigned suppliers / service providers
  • Inputting invoices into the Purchase Ledger
  • Performing 3-way match to Purchase Order and Delivery Notes for goods received
  • Processing invoices for payment
  • Maintaining a log of invoice issues and working with relevant departments to resolve them in a timely manner
  • Managing and resolving purchase invoice / supplier account queries
  • Setting up new suppliers / managing account changes

Experience:

  • Previous experience within finance / office environment
  • Data entry skills
  • A high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
