Interim Finance Business Partner role with our Edinburgh based client. This role will be for a period of 12-15 months and report directly to the Head of Finance. The key duties of this role will be to:

• Produce analysis, interpretation and explanation of trends and variances to support the business
• Monitor and report on capital project spend in line with approved limits
• Support in identifying, evaluating and delivering cost productivity initiatives
• Provide support and guidance to key stakeholders on key business decisions
• Ownership of annual Budgets with responsibility for ensuring alignment with business objectives, stakeholder support and control
• Lead on the future strategic direction of the business through the production of future financial plans
• Lead on month end process including variance analysis, report financial performance and review the management account resource
• Responsible for continuous improvement of monthly reporting to ensure requirements are met
• Deliver monthly rolling forecasts offering projected insight on financial performance
• Line management of 1 direct report

To apply you will be a Qualified accountant with excellent analytic and problem-solving skills. You will be confident with the use of Excel and be able to build good relationships with all levels of finance and non-finance stakeholders. You will be a motivated self-starter who can prioritise workload to deadlines. This role offers flexible-hybrid working and will begin in the first week of March. Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 p.a. dependant on experience.
