Rutherford Cross is delighted to be working in partnership with a fast-growing financial services specialist to appoint a Management Accountant. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with various private equity accounts in a vibrant social culture, offering long-term progression opportunities. Key duties include:

• Preparing and discussing management accounts and forecasting for clients, discussing with them directly as required
• Coordinating with fund managers on investor capital calls and drawdowns
• Preparing financial reports and communication with stakeholders
• Preparing and working closely with stakeholders on Statutory Trust, Small Company, Limited Liability Partnership and Limited Partnership accounts
• Reviewing monthly bank reconciliations, client invoices, expense reports and payment authorisation prepared by an Assistant Accountant
• Preparing and submitting VAT returns
• Overseeing monthly bank reconciliations, client invoices, expense reports and payment authorizations prepared by an Assistant Accountant
• Discussing with clients and auditors to ensure good governance and best practices for each administered fund
• Making sure procedures, practices and systems are properly managed and developed to control the client side of the business and maintain thorough documentation for all systems

Experience required:

• Part-qualified accountant who is ambitious to become fully qualified (support is provided by the company)
• Experience in preparing management accounts, collaborating with third parties for financial completeness
• Beneficial to have experience in financial services
• Software experience in Excel, Word, Investran, and Sage Line 50
