Interim Transactional Finance Manager job (Hybrid) with our Glasgow based, large corporate client for an 18-month period. Reporting to the Head of Operations, you will be responsible for:
- Day to day leadership of the finance team, responsible for the collection of outstanding debt and payments to internal and external partners
- Delivery against a set of KPI’s and targets ensuring day to day operational delivery
- Perform monthly performance reviews to support and develop staff
- Train and develop the wider finance team to provide them with the relevant skills and knowledge to effectively undertake their tasks
- Identify areas for development in current processes and controls as well as leading transformational changes for overall improvement
- Manage the controls and processes documentation ensuring they are relevant and up to date
- Compliance with company policies and procedures, and any external regulations
Applications are welcomed from Qualified or ‘Qualified by Experience’ individuals possessing strong people management experience within a high volume transactional finance team. This position will backfill an internal secondment and requires a detail-orientated, organised accountant able to multi-task and prioritise workload effectively. The ideal candidate will also be proficient with Excel and other MS Office applications. This role offers hybrid working. Salary bracket: £55,000 - £60,000 p.a.
