Interim Systems Accountant (Project Manager)

Interim Systems Accountant (Project Manager) job with our client based in the West of Scotland for a 12 month period. Reporting to the Head of Finance you will be responsible for the successful implementation of an ERP Financial System. Key responsibilities include:

• Set the timetable for the Systems Project
• Project Manage the implementation monitoring progress against the timetable set
• Skilful stakeholder management working very closely with the Project & Implementation Teams and External Consultants
• Utilising existing Project Management software to ensure key milestones are achieved
• Organise Project Board Meetings and preparation of related reports
• Co-ordinating User Acceptance Testing, Go Live and post Go Live Training on the new software

To apply it is essential that you have previous experience of Project Managing a successful ERP Systems implementation. You will have excellent leadership and influencing skills. Ideally you will be a Qualified Accountant and/or have Prince II accreditation. It would be advantageous if you have previous experience within the Public Sector but this is not essential. Salary: circa £60,000 or day rate equivalent.
