Interim Senior Financial Reporting Accountant (Hybrid) with an established Glasgow-based business for an initial 3-4-month period.

Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will be responsible for:

• Supporting with the preparation and review of year-end financial statements
• Liaising with external Auditors and acting as key contact during the audit process
• Balance sheet and profit & loss reconciliations
• Supporting on various Tax matters and ensuring the business is compliant with relevant tax legislation across its activities
• Assisting in driving ongoing improvements and providing high-quality output and advice to both Finance and non-Finance staff
• Building strong relationships with key Finance and non-Finance stakeholders
• Ad hoc duties as required

To apply, you will be a fully Qualified Accountant (ICAS, ICAEW, CIMA, ACCA or equivalent) with excellent technical accounting skills and experience within a Group Finance function. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic and be adaptable to changing priorities. Good Excel skills and working knowledge of ERP accounting systems are important. This role offers a hybrid working model. Day Rate: £Competitive
