Interim Senior Finance Business Partner job with our Renfrewshire-based client for 6 months.
Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Preparing accurate, timely and clear management information including financial performance, strategic financial planning, budgeting and forecasting
- Providing strategic advice across departments, including the production of robust financial planning and reporting
- Undertaking financial analysis and due diligence assessment of new initiatives, reviewing the financial impact and challenging business plans to ensure validity
- Working closely with departments in exploring viable income generation and funding strategies to support improved performance and revenue increases
- Identifying areas of potential financial efficiency through objective review and challenge to seek improved use of resources
- Ensuring all activity is subject to rigorous budgetary monitoring, forecasting, and controls
- Act as a link between various departments and Central Finance and take responsibility for long-term financial planning
- Promoting a culture of continuous improvement
- Contributing fully to the Finance Management team to optimise the impact of finance across the organisation
To apply, you will be a Qualified or ‘Qualified by Experience’ hands-on Finance Business Partner with previous experience in a similar role. You will have proven analytical and problem-solving skills able to make considered decisions and resolve conflicts. The post holder should have strong commercial awareness and business acumen, understand key business drivers and be able to work effectively with senior management.
Candidates should have strong Excel skills with the ability to analyse and interpret complex financial data. Lastly, knowledge of financial modelling would be beneficial, but not essential to the role. Salary bracket: £48,000 - £54,000 p.a.
