Interim Senior Accountant (Remote) job with our client who has sites in both Scotland and London for an initial short-term contract.

Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for:

• Functional Leadership of the Global Financial Planning & Analysis process
• Producing monthly management accounts, variance analysis and commentaries for dedicated Business Unit(s)
• Generating monthly invoices, expense reports, and reconciliations of assigned Business Unit(s)
• Training and developing team members in the use of Salesforce and Concur
• Being the trusted and respected “go to” person for responsible Business Unit(s) in relation to assigned duties and tasks
• Providing technical accounting guidance to ensure that accounting standards are complied with and the financial reporting follows regulatory requirements
• Cashflow management for assigned Business Unit(s)
• Managing the end of the year audit process for responsible Business Unit(s)

• Commercially astute with excellent communication skills and business acumen
• Highly collaborative with an ability to engage and influence at all levels within the organisation
• Financial reporting skills with strong affinity for technical accounting standards
• Understanding of tax obligations within US environment
• Relationship management: uses appropriate interpersonal styles and influencing techniques to gain acceptance of ideas or plans; adapts communication style to maximise business impact and move communication toward agreed-upon actions
