Interim Project Accountant with our Edinburgh-based client. This role will report directly to the Head of Finance for an initial 6-month period.

The key responsibilities of this role are:

• Supporting the Head of Finance with a number of upcoming projects, acting as finance lead on these
• Providing reliable and robust financial advice for major projects
• Working towards an agreed Project agenda ensuring clear and defined objectives
• Collaborating with key stakeholders to review, develop and implement improved financial management policies and procedures
• Support the organisation by providing guidance on budgeting, contracting matters and efficient use of resources
• Ad hoc support to the wider finance team as required

To apply, you will be a Qualified or ‘Qualified by Experience’ Accountant with experience working within a project role. You will have the ability to prioritise and work closely to tight deadlines. You will be confident liaising with stakeholders at all levels across the organisation. This role is for an initial 6-month period and offers hybrid working. Salary: £40,000 - £43,000 p.a.
