Interim System Accountant job with our Edinburgh based client. This role is for a 12-month period and will report directly to the Finance Business Partner. The key duties of this role are:
- Responsibility for the day-to-day maintenance of the ERP system, covering change control, configuration management, update and patch releases, fault resolution
- Managing and contributing where required to the project work packages in relation to strategic and operational projects
- Leading the ERP system development in accordance with strategic direction ensuring appropriate and timely engagement of key stakeholders
- Responsibility for delivering of technical support to the ERP users and business owners utilising the hep-desk service management team
- Identifying recurring themes and issues, taking action where appropriate to update guidance and inclusion in training packages
- Assisting in the design and development of finance training strategies, working with key stakeholders to identify any training needs and design training programmes to maximise efficiency
To apply you will be an experienced Systems Accountant strong systems knowledge in managing core finance modules of an ERP system. You will have supported on the implementation, development and upgrades and be able to deliver strong financial and systems controls. You will be comfortable liaising with both financial and non-financial stakeholders and have the ability to work across multiple functions. This role will start in November and supports hybrid working. Salary £38,000 - £46,000 p.a. dependant on experience.
