New Interim Group Accountant role with our Edinburgh based client for initial 3-6 months. This role will report directly to the Group Financial Controller. The key responsibilities are:

• Preparation if the annual group statutory accounts working closely with the Group Financial Reporting Manager
• Support both the internal teams and external auditors in the audit process
• Lead on the consolidation of UK tax returns to support external advisors
• Preparation and review of forecasts and budgets providing budget holders with insightful reporting
• Support in the delivery of process improvements for the Group, identifying key areas to target and working with subsidiaries to understand current best practice
• Liaise with the wider finance team to support with ad hoc requests where required

To apply you will be a Qualified, Part-Qualified or ‘Qualified by Experience’ Accountant with a solid accounting skill set. You will have previous group consolidation experience and have the ability to deliver work to a high standard in a timely matter. You will have excellent communication skills and be comfortable working on your own initiative. This role supports hybrid working and will commence in January. Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 p.a. dependant on experience.
