Interim Group Accountant

Rutherford Cross is delighted to be working with a growing manufacturing business in Glasgow to add a Group Management Accountant to their team on an interim basis. Continued global growth is resulting in support being required around a number of areas of finance. A summary of some key aspects of the role will include:

• Balance sheet reconciliations with explanation of variances to budget
• Fixed assets review and running depreciation
• Creating and posting general ledger journals
• Prepayments and accruals for various entities
• Inventory management and review of BOM’s
• Assisting with year end and statutory accounts completion
• Transactional duties such as running payroll, processing sales invoices, managing debtors

For this role it is essential the candidate is either fully qualified or qualified by experience. Analytical and problem solving skills along with strong excel skills, a proactive attitude, strong attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
