Hybrid | FP&A | Commercial Finance

I’m currently supporting a well-known UK organisation looking to appoint a forward-thinking FP&A Analyst to strengthen its commercial finance capability. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys shaping insight, improving reporting, and working closely with senior stakeholders.

The Opportunity

In this role, you'll take ownership of weekly and daily commercial reporting, ensuring financial results and KPIs are delivered with accuracy, clarity and genuine commercial insight. You’ll support month end analysis, help explain performance drivers, and work directly with operational leaders across regions and stores.

A key part of the role involves challenging and controlling costs, identifying savings, and ensuring budgets and reforecasts are produced with quality and precision. You'll also play a central role in developing and enhancing reporting processes, and driving continuous improvement across the finance function.

Key Requirements

• A qualified accountant (or equivalent experience) with solid FP&A grounding
• Strong data manipulation capability and the ability to translate financials into simple, commercial language
• Advanced Excel skills; any exposure to D365 or Power BI is beneficial
• Someone proactive, organised and comfortable working to tight deadlines
• A confident communicator who can build strong relationships across multiple departments
