Interim Finance Director job with our professional services client based in Glasgow. This is a new role for an initial 6-month period.

Reporting to the CFO, you will be responsible for:

• Driving the financial results and commercial activities of the business in Scotland, working closely with the leadership team
• Leading on the preparation of budgets and forecasts, as well as financial planning
• Reporting and presenting financial results to senior management and attendance at Board meetings
• Leading the finance team, delivering financial and credit control, financial operations and reporting, process improvement and driving commercial finance
• Providing coaching and development support to direct reports and the leadership team
• Influencing and challenging senior leaders to drive commercial activities and culture
• Leading on the statutory year-end and liaising with external auditors
• Financial analysis, business cases, and integration of M&A activity
• Compliance with tax policies and other policies including credit

To apply, you will be a fully qualified accountant and experienced Finance Director with a background in professional services or business services. You will have excellent stakeholder management skills and be able to challenge and influence senior leaders within the business. You will also have first-class commercial finance acumen.

Salary: £90,000 - £100,000 p.a. or day rate equivalent.
