Interim Financial Controller, Edinburgh

Interim Financial Controller job with our client based in Edinburgh. You will play a key role working with and reporting to the Finance Director, continuing to drive the business forward. This business is a well-known brand in Edinburgh with a diverse customer base. You will be responsible for:

• Preparation of monthly management accounts including profit & loss and balance sheet
• Annual budget setting for the company and by department
• Ongoing budgetary monitoring, forecasting and variance analysis
• Managing and leading the finance team
• Significant liaison with non-financial departmental managers
• Process improvement and systems development
• Development of reporting
• Lead on the statutory accounts preparation and liaison with external auditors
• Analysis of revenue and expenditure
• Provide decision support information for senior management

To apply it is essential you are a Qualified Accountant with previous experience of the day to day running of a Finance Department and Team ideally within a dynamic and complex medium sized business. You will have first class reporting and communication skills. Salary circa £45,000 per annum.
