Interim Financial Controller job for a 6-month period with our large and growing client based in Glasgow. Reporting to the Finance Director you will be responsible for:

• Preparation of monthly management accounts including profit & loss and balance sheet for the division
• Production of annual statutory accounts and liaison with external auditors
• Running of a busy finance department including management of a sizeable finance team of over 30 staff
• Co-ordinate staff development and deliver staff appraisals
• Day to day control over all aspects of P&L and balance sheet
• Develop financial reporting to meet the requirements of the business
• Drive improvements in processes, procedures and systems
• Lead of key projects within the department linked to payroll and systems development

To apply you must be a fully qualified Accountant. You will have excellent leadership capabilities with a track record of leading large finance or finance transactional teams. You will also have remained hands on with the ability to engage in key projects and drive improvements in processes and systems. Salary: £65,000 - £75,000 per annum or day rate equivalent.
