Description
Interim Finance Manager job with our Service Sector client based in Lanarkshire for an initial 4-6 month period. Reporting directly to the Managing Director you will be responsible for:
- Effective day to day running of the Finance Department
- Preparation of monthly management accounts including profit & loss and balance sheet accounts
- Providing supervision and leadership of the finance team of 6 staff
- Provision of monthly budget monitoring reports with analysis of variances
- Liaison with Departmental Managers regarding budgetary variances
- Regular review of the business plan ensuring objectives are met
- Contribute to the preparation of the financial elements within the Board Reports
- Managing Procurement within Company guidelines
- Preparation of statutory accounts and liaison with external auditors
To apply it is essential you are a CCAB Qualified Accountant with a track record of leading a similar Finance function. You will have first class communication and IT skills. You will also be experienced in staff management and development. Salary £45,000 - £50,000. Target start date 18th August 2014.
