Rutherford Cross is working with an organisation in the Charity Sector to recruit an Interim Finance Manager position for a period of 6 months. This Interim Finance Manager job is a pivotal role which will be focused around preparing the accounts for year end as well as including some business partnering duties. The company are looking for someone to start asap. A summary of some of the key duties are below:

• Leading on the external audit process which will include preparing the year-end statutory accounts and audit file
• Ensuring compliance with legislation including FRS102
• Overseeing the internal audit work which will include preparing finance reports and attending committee meetings
• Acting as signatory for bank accounts, purchase orders, BACS payment runs and payroll
• Providing support to Operational Managers around budgeting and costings

For this role it is essential you are a fully qualified accountant who has previous experience of working in the Charitable sector and preparing accounts to meet SORP standards. The contract will be working for home for the duration.
