Interim Director of Finance (Hybrid) job with our Glasgow based client in the charity sector.

Reporting to the Chief Executive, you will be responsible for:

• Preparing quarter-end management accounts, and relating to managers and the Board
• Completing VAT return, ensuring an accurate return across multiple income streams with different VAT status
• Preparing year-end; and working with auditors to prepare statutory accounts
• Providing guidance to Board and management on finance issues
• Reviewing the finance function and identify opportunities to improve processes & systems
• Providing leadership on finance – both within the finance team, and within the wider management team
• Ongoing development of the finance team

To apply, you will be an experienced finance leader / Head of Finance comfortable in leading and development finance teams. You will also be hands on in the preparation of management accounts. Ideally you will also be able to carry out a review of existing finance processes and systems. This role offers flexibility, hybrid working, a four and a half day working week or four condensed days and a very generous holiday entitlement. Day Rate: £250-£300 per day.
