Description
Interim Cost Accountant job with a manufacturing organisation for a 6-month hybrid contract in Edinburgh. You will be working with key stakeholders to deliver financial targets, manage budgets and support decision-making.
Responsibilities and Criteria:
- Reporting of actual and forecasting of operational costs
- Capital management, inventory analysis and cost management
- Monthly management reporting alongside commercial forecast submissions and variance analysis
- Assisting with annual budget processes: operation overhead budgets, absorption rates and capital forecasting
- D365 Project Implementation: end-to-end user testing and data migration testing
To apply, you will be a qualified, ‘qualified by experience’ or a part-qualified accountant with previous experience within a manufacturing organisation and have exposure to ERP systems within improvement/change projects.
Salary: £50-55k or day rate equivalent
