Interim Commercial Management Accountant

Interim Commercial Management Accountant job for a 12-month period with our Edinburgh based client. Reporting to the Head of Finance you will be responsible for:

• Preparing monthly KPI reports for both finance and non-finance managers
• Supporting the budget setting process with forecasts relating to operational performance
• Monitor performance against budget, analysing variances and liaising with operational managers
• Deliver continuous improvement of processes and procedures including monthly reports
• Supporting commercial decision making through the financial appraisal of operational projects
• Conduct investment appraisal for Capital Expenditure Projects
• Developing a cost model to accurately estimate the cost of production

To apply you must be a fully qualified Accountant with Advanced Excel and Financial Modelling skills. You will have a track record of operating in Commercial Finance supporting commercial teams or production within a manufacturing type business. You will have first class written and verbal communication skills. Salary: £50,000 - £55,000 per annum.
