Excellent interim opportunity to start asap. Manufacturing business based in Glasgow are seeking an interim qualified accountant to join their commercial finance team for a period of around 6 months. Some key duties will include:
- Reviewing commercial finance budgets and forecasts
- Assessing profitability of products and costings
- Acting as a business partner for the sales and commercial teams
- Attending regular meetings with the sales teams
- Providing MI and carrying out regular financial analysis
- High levels of data manipulation on Excel
This role requires a qualified accountant – CIMA/CA/ACCA who has worked in a manufacturing environment and in a commercial role. You must be flexible and able to juggle a number of different tasks and work to tight deadlines. Communication and interpersonal skills are key for business partnering and building relationships. On offer is a long-term contract with a highly attractive daily rate and the experience of working in a fast paced, evolving environment.
