Interim Assistant Financial Accountant

Interim Financial Accountant job with our Glasgow based client for a 4-6 month period. This role will report directly to the Financial Accountant. The key duties of this role are:

• Assist in the timely and accurate submission of all statutory and management accounts and reports
• Supporting with the fiscal and tax compliance reporting and submissions in accordance with local requirements
• Producing timely and accurate reporting and consolidation of budgets
• Supporting both the internal and external audits including the review of internal controls and policies
• Ensuring all Balance Sheet and reconciliations are completed on a monthly basis
• Producing month end and year end reports including the completion of monthly management accounts, operating expenses, group projects, exceptional items and miscellaneous income and expense
• Preparation of VAT returns for UK entities
• Providing support with any ad-hoc reporting and analysis

To apply you will be a Part-Qualified or “Qualified by Experience” Accountant with good excel skills as well as strong verbal and communication skills. You will have experience working in a fast-paced environment and have the ability to multi-task and prioritise work loads. This role will commence at the end of June and will initially be home working based but may transition to a hybrid working model. Salary circa £35,000 p.a.
