Interim Assistant Accountant

Rutherford Cross is delighted to be exclusively retained on a 12-month maternity cover role with our transportation client.

This role will report directly into the Head Office Accountant and be responsible for:

• Assisting with monthly management reporting
• Assisting with monthly group and other recharges and inter-group loan calculations
• Assisting with day-to-day banking transactions
• Assisting with day-to-day purchase and sales ledger processes (including expense claim processing)
• Assisting with the preparation of monthly management accounts
• Occasional Head Office administration support
• General ad hoc finance duties as and when required

The position requires a high calibre individual who has strong interpersonal skills, is detail orientated and possesses excellent knowledge of accounting systems and processes. This role offers hybrid working and will pay £30-35k.
