Interim Assistant Accountant job with our West Lothian client for an initial 3-month period. This role will report to the Financial Reporting Manager and support the global finance team.

The key responsibilities of the role are:

• Preparing monthly consolidated P&L including review and analysis
• Producing general ledger account reconciliation for balances including accruals, prepayments and deposits
• Recording journal entries
• Processing monthly payroll journals
• Preparing and submitting of UK and Irish VAT returns
• Ad hoc financial and accounting support to the wider finance team as required

To apply, you will be a Qualified or ‘Qualified by Experience’ Accountant with high attention to detail. You will be confident liaising with multi-department teams, and establishing positive working relationships. You will have good analytical skills as well as solid Excel and systems knowledge. This role will begin in early April for an initial 3-month period. Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 p.a. or day rate equivalent.
