Rutherford Cross is partnered with a hospitality firm seeking a Commercial Financial Controller with strong financial acumen, analytical skills, and robust reporting capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide commercial analysis, financial reporting, and forecasting
• Influence and challenge business decisions to maximise profit
• Collaborate with senior management to ensure financial performance aligns with contract objectives
• Manage fixed and variable costs to meet profitability targets

Operational Duties:

• Partner with the onsite operations team
• Report weekly on sales, gross profit, labour, and overheads for each profit centre
• Analyse and visualise key drivers of contract performance
• Create KPI dashboards to measure contract effectiveness
• Prepare monthly financial reports highlighting operational performance
• Assist in client presentations and address financial performance queries
• Identify and report key trend metrics in a financial dashboard
• Lead planning and forecasting for the stadium, aligning with business strategy
• Provide insights and recommendations to improve profitability
• Ensure purchasing compliance and identify cost-saving opportunities
• Maintain finance compliance and recommend improvements
• Support decision-making with insightful analysis and idea generation
