We are delighted to be supporting our client in the appointment of an Interim Head of Finance for a 12-month period. Reporting directly to the CEO, this is a pivotal leadership role offering the opportunity to play a significant part in shaping business performance and supporting strategic decision-making across the organisation.
As a key member of the senior leadership team, you will be responsible for ensuring robust financial management, delivering high-quality reporting and analysis, and providing commercial insight to drive business growth and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare of monthly management accounts
- Lead the statutory accounts production process and liaison with external auditors
- Cash flow management and liquidity reporting
- Lead and manage the finance team
- Prepare tax returns
- Develop key business controls
- Production of commercial and KPI reports across key business functions
- Lead on the annual budget process business partnering and challenging budget holders
- Update forecasts and analysis of variances
- Support sales and procurement deals
The Ideal Candidate:
- A recognised professional accounting qualification (CA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent
- Previous experience within a Head of Finance, Financial Controller or senior finance leadership role
- Strong technical accounting and financial reporting skills
- Experience of ERP accounting systems and financial modelling
- Excellent business partnering and stakeholder management capabilities
- Proven people management and leadership experience
- Strong commercial awareness and the ability to translate financial information into actionable business insights
- A proactive, adaptable approach with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
