Title: Financial Controller

Salary: £60,000 + Car Allowance + Bonus + Pension

Rutherford Cross are delighted to be working with a long established company based on the outskirts of Dunfermline. This is a newly created position incorporating a blend of financial, operational, and key stakeholder management. The Financial Controller will be charged with ensuring strong cash management and internal controls processes are in place and adhered to. Additionally they will take ownership of a number of continuous improvement processes around internal audit, internal controls, cash control, and commercial contract management.

Key areas of focus will include:

• Ensure a culture of commercial awareness is promoted and maintained across the company through effective business partnering
• Implementing ‘best in practice’ financial processes and procedures appropriate to the needs of a changing business
• Delivering a continuous improvement approach in order to maximise operational efficiency
• Ownership of year-end accounts production and liaison with auditors
• Overall control of risk and compliance across the business
• Involvement in a number of ongoing and future projects
