Description

Rutherford Cross is working in partnership with an established Glasgow city centre based business to recruit a Financial Analyst.

This is an excellent career opportunity for a recently qualified CA to move to a large-scale, high profile business,  making a sizeable, positive social impact.  The company has an exceptional reputation for promoting internally and provides great prospects for career development.

The role provides broad exposure, dealing with:

  • New contracts and capital investment proposals
  • Production of the statutory accounts
  • Preparation of monthly rolling cost forecasts
  • Identifying trends and significant variances

To be successful in this role you will need to demonstrate:

  • Commercially awareness, be delivery focused and self-motivated individual
  • Pro-active person who anticipates issues and problems and puts in place effective strategies to manage
  • Confidence, ability and presence to constructively challenge
  • Excellent oral and written communication and in particular the ability to communicate financial concepts/issues to non-finance managers

Minimum Criteria

  • Qualified accountant
  • Proficient user of Excel
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills

On offer:

  • Salary £37,000-£46,000
  • Bonus up to 10%
