Rutherford Cross is proud to be working exclusively with Heineken’s Manchester Brewery team on the appointment of a Finance Business Partner. This is a key commercial position for a period of 15 months with potential of a permanent contract on completion.
The Role
Reporting directly to the Head of Supply Chain Finance, the key purpose of this role is to provide best in class finance business partner support and add value to the operational site leadership team and other senior Supply Chain stakeholders and their direct teams through insight, challenge and support.
To ensure financial rigour, governance and controls are in place and provide insight and analysis to support the site leadership team in delivering the Operational and Financial targets of the local business strategy and Supply Chain strategy. Responsibility for both fixed and variable costs for the site, Capex, Stock and for co-pack and import costs.
Lead role in financial control, planning & analysis for site, including co-ordination of all key financial review and planning processes e.g. Annual Budget, Monthly Reporting, Monthly Risks & Opportunities and Quarterly Performance Reviews. You will liaise closely with the Finance Business Partners on our other production sites to share best practice.
Skills and qualifications required:
- Qualified Accountant – ACA/ACCA/CIMA
- Graduate Preferable
- Relevant experience in business partnering role in an FMCG environment
- Excellent relationship builder and strong stakeholder management skills
- Commercially astute with an ability to identify & shape opportunities / risks, influencing behaviour & decisions which have improved business results.
- Track record of setting and delivering stretching cost saving targets
- Excellent Presentation skills
- Good experience of working with SAP Product Costing
