Rutherford Cross are engaged by a well-known multi-site organisation in Edinburgh to recruit a Finance Business Partner into their finance team. Reporting directly to the Financial Controller you will be responsible for the following:

• Business partnering the individual budget holders to ensure accuracy of business performance being reported.
• Ensure each individual budget holder is educated on their P&L and understands what actions are required to improve financial performance in particular areas.
• Provide advice to stakeholders on the financial implications and consequences of business decisions.
• Provide support to managers during the Annual Budgeting & Monthly Forecasting processes.
• A strong focus around continuous improvement with regards to the quality of reporting and management information that is shared with the wider business.

This would be an excellent opportunity for a recently qualified accountant to get some fantastic commercial exposure to a multitude of stakeholders within a business.  The successful candidate will have the ability to add value to senior management decision making across a number of different revenue streams on a monthly basis. Coupled with the opportunity to manage a small, experienced team this is truly a unique role in the marketplace right now. The salary for this role would be £36,000.
