Finance Business Partner – Lanarkshire (hybrid) – 38k

Rutherford Cross are delighted to be exclusively partnered with one of our key clients to appoint the newly created position of Finance Business Partner. In this highly stakeholder focused role you will be expected to develop and drive relationships both internal and external with a focus on driving efficiencies and information with the group costing team.

Ideally, we are looking to engage with part-qualified/finalist/QBE accountants who have experience in business that deal with tangible goods (FMCG/Drinks/Manufacturing etc) and have well honed interpersonal and communication skills. Previous experience managing stakeholder relationships is key. Anybody with an understanding of Cost Accounting would be extremely well placed to succeed in this role but this isn’t required.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing the costing process ensuring product cost accuracy throughout the NPD process
• Drive efficiency in product costings by engaging with key stakeholders of departments
• Ensure latest cost sets and financial reference data is accurate and up to date
• Attend and provide insight at product internal reviews
• Collate and review all data for a product post launch review
• Responsible for standard Bill of Material (BOM) exporting and timely set up of operational BOMs
• Support the Head of Group Product Costings on ad hoc projects and analysis
• Support the finance graduates during their role transitions
• Travel to other sites when required to maintain site knowledge and awareness
