Rutherford Cross are currently working with our well known client, based in the centre of Glasgow, to recruit into the role of Finance Business Partner. Working within a small but experienced team you will directly support the overall financial planning process through the provision of financial reporting and analysis to your designated operational areas. Working with significant autonomy, you will provide regular financial information and support senior management in specific management accounting tasks including financial planning/forecasting, annual budget preparation and business case preparation. The Finance Business Partner is also expected to directly contribute to the success of the ongoing change agenda within the organisation linked to potential redesign of service delivery and delivery of cost savings/efficiencies.
The successful candidate will be a fully qualified accountant with significant management accounting and business partnering experience. Excellent communication skills and a proven track record in engaging and influencing a senior level are both essential, as is the ability to quickly establish relationships with all key stakeholders ensuring that you are viewed as trusted member of the wider operational management team.
