The Divisional Finance Director sits on the Senior Management Team with responsibility for the full financial control of the business in addition to contributing to its strategic direction. This is a critical role central to the company and is highly visible across the wider group.

Operating in a dynamic and change orientated working environment, this opportunity requires an individual with the capacity and flexibility to adapt their approach as the scale of the business increases whilst at all times meeting the needs of a diverse stakeholder group. The Divisional Finance Director will be heavily involved in driving business growth through astute financial management, taking ownership of the integration process, and also supporting the European MD operationally on a day-to-day basis.

These include an imminent business and systems transformation program designed to improve visibility across the business therefore providing a stable platform for growth. As the company moves to becoming part of a wider group more robust internal controls and procedures will be required, in addition to increased reporting capability to meet the needs of the parent company.

The Divisional Finance Director position requires a professionally qualified accountant with the capacity to lead a multi-site finance function. This is a broad and ever evolving role that requires an individual from a commercial background with demonstrable experience of operational and commercial business partnering and decision making. It is critical that the Divisional Finance Director can work closely with the Senior Management Team, providing challenge and input into commercial decision making and programme management.

The focus in the business is on product development and winning and delivering projects, but underpinned by astute financial management. To be successful in the role, it is essential that the Divisional Finance Director can bring ‘bigger picture’ awareness while also always remaining close enough to the business to safeguard its financial future.
