Description

Our client, a large and highly regarded corporate organisation, is seeking to appoint an experienced Senior Finance Contractor for an initial 3 - 6-month assignment. Reporting directly to the CFO, this is a high-profile role that will provide strategic financial leadership and support during a critical period for the business.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Leading liquidity management and cash flow forecasting activities, ensuring the business maintains a strong and sustainable funding position.
  • Overseeing banking relationships and treasury management, providing strategic advice on financing structures and cash optimisation.
  • Supporting and managing fundraising initiatives, including engagement with lenders, investors and other funding partners.
  • Managing debt finance arrangements, monitoring compliance with lending requirements and supporting refinancing activity where required.
  • Preparing and delivering regular financial reporting and presentations to investors, stakeholders and the Board.
  • Acting as a trusted advisor to the CFO and senior leadership team on key financial and commercial matters.
  • Supporting a range of strategic projects, including business transformation, acquisitions, disposals, financing transactions and other corporate initiatives.
  • Providing financial insight and analysis to support decision-making across the organisation.
  • Working closely with internal and external stakeholders to drive successful project outcomes and deliver value creation opportunities.

The successful candidate will be a fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) with a strong commercial mindset and the ability to operate effectively at both strategic and operational levels. You will bring a proven track record within complex corporate environments and will be comfortable influencing senior stakeholders.

A background in Corporate Finance, Transaction Services or Transaction Advisory is essential, alongside experience of debt funding, investor relations, treasury, and corporate transactions. Strong communication skills, adaptability, and a hands-on approach are critical for success in this role.

Day Rate: Highly competitive, dependent on experience.

This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially astute finance professional to make an immediate impact within a dynamic and ambitious organisation. If you have any questions regarding the post, please reach out to Derek Lauder at Rutherford Cross ([email protected])
