Description
Interim Assistant Accountant opportunity with a high-growth family business based in Glasgow for an initial 3-month period. Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for:
• Preparing daily bank reconciliations.
• Preparing and posting ad hoc bank payments.
• Reconcile and process company credit card transactions.
• Prepare the employee expenses payments on banking system.
• Processing customer refunds.
• Daily, weekly, and monthly cash analysis and reporting and accounts funded.
• Assist the Payroll Team during busy periods and be holiday cover.
• Assist the AP Team ensuring the accurate and timely processing of Purchase invoices.
• Assist the Financial Reporting Manager during the month end close.
• Support with the year end audit.
• Complete all National Statistics and surveys for the group.
• Assist in preparing ad hoc analysis.
The Ideal Candidate:
• Immediately available
• Proficient with Excel
• Able to contribute positively to the overall direction of the financial reporting function
• Demonstrable experience within a similar role
