Fantastic opportunity to join our Edinburgh-based client bolstering their information governance team – supporting a number of firm-wide programmes and projects in the roll-out of (and adherence to) a raft of compliance, data protection, securities and legislative guidelines and conditions.
The role-holder should possess demonstrable experience of previously operating within an information governance role and be capable of:
- Risk assessing current assets, data, infrastructure and security management
- Working with stakeholders to develop firm-wide infosec policies and procedures
- Developing a data protection (including GDPR) best-practice set of behaviours
- Working to information governance and compliance standards and regulation
- Supporting organisation-wide projects, reviewing Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs) and participating in the development of information-sharing agreements
- Providing general data protection advice
It would be advantageous if applicants have previously worked within an enterprise-sized environment, and have driven information compliance procedures through from embryo stage to completion.
A variety of both technical and non-technical stakeholders will need to be interacted with on a daily basis, and applicants should be prepared to assemble documentation and data-sharing notices as part of an ongoing performance improvement within the firm.
Additional Information:
- This is a part-time position with 2 - 3 days of work per week
- You will be expected to work within standard business hours, but have flexibility in choosing specific workdays
- Outside IR35 contract
