Ally Deas focuses on permanent finance appointments, specialising in the placement of part and recently qualified accountants in industry across the central belt of Scotland. With a passion for nurturing long-term relationships, Ally takes pride in delivering value at every stage of the recruitment process offering insight, support, and a genuine commitment to his clients and candidates alike.
Ally graduated with an Honours Degree in Business Studies from Edinburgh Napier University, where he also completed a year-long placement in Business Development with an energy broker during his third year. With a background in Client Relations and experience across a range of industries, Ally brings a well-rounded commercial perspective to finance recruitment. His personable nature, combined with his consultative approach, allows him to build trusted partnerships and help shape career paths with care and precision.
A true advocate for pushing boundaries both professionally and personally, Ally has completed a number of extreme physical challenges including a marathon, David Goggins’ 4x4x48 challenge, and a full swim across the breadth of Loch Lomond. He regularly uses these events to raise money and awareness for a range of charities, combining his love of physical endurance with a commitment to giving back.
Ally is also a keen multi-sport athlete with a love for hockey, golf, tennis, badminton, cycling, and water sports. His deep passion for Scotland’s natural landscape has seen him summit over 200 Munros to date, with many more adventures on the horizon. He brings this same sense of discipline, determination, and ambition to everything he does—whether it’s on the mountains or in the recruitment market.
