Livingston James Group Wins Dragonboat Race for St Columbas Hospice
Earlier this month saw the completion of Livingston James Group’s 2026 Corporate Challenge.
This year we took on the St Columbas Hospice Care’s Dragon Boat Race to raise money for an incredible organisation that provides world-leading hospice care to Edinburgh and the Lothians. An organisation that many of our relationships across colleagues, clients and extended network have seen firsthand.
Supporting the communities in which we live and work is an important part of what we do at Livingston James Group, and we were proud to take part in an event that raises vital funds for such a worthy cause.
After months of anticipation, the big day did not disappoint, with four hard-fought races and a new competition record with a 48-second heat.
The Livingston James Vikings were delighted to be crowned 2026 Dragon Boat Champions, securing the title by just 0.17 seconds.
The real highlight though was the camaraderie shown by all the competing teams and the magnitude of support for St Columba’s Hospice, with over £47,381.93 having been raised. LJG is proud to have raised over £6,000 and would like to thank everyone who donated to such a worthy cause.
A huge congratulations to all involved from the hospice in putting together a wonderful event, and a big thank you to the event sponsors, Forth Ports Limited.
