Location: Greenock (4 days onsite, 1 day remote)
Contract Length: 2-3 Months
Our client, a growing facilities management business based in Greenock, is seeking an experienced Interim Project Accountant to support the finance function during a busy period.
This is a hands-on role with a dual focus on the production of monthly management accounts and short-term cashflow planning.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly management accounts, including:
- Profit & Loss reporting
- Balance Sheet reconciliations
- Cashflow reporting
- Deliver accurate and timely financial analysis to support business decision-making
- Manage and maintain short-term cashflow forecasts
- Work with invoice financing facilities and ensure effective cash management
- Analyse financial data and provide insights using advanced Excel modelling and reporting
Candidate Requirements
- Qualified or qualified by experience accountant
- Proven experience producing full management accounts
- Strong understanding of Balance Sheet and Cashflow management
- Experience with short-term cashflow forecasting and invoice financing
- Strong Excel skills with the ability to analyse and present financial information effectively
- Experience using Sage 50 would be highly advantageous
- Ability to hit the ground running in a fast-paced environment
