The position of Finance Manager will be responsible for providing a high level of service in this client-facing position. They will be an outgoing and motivated individual who enjoys the challenge of new experiences, and an agile and interactive environment.
Role Responsibilities:
- Review quarterly management accounts and forecasting for clients, discussing with them directly as required
- Liaise with fund managers in relation to investor capital calls and drawdowns, actioning if and when required - including forex transactions
- Build strong relationships with fund managers by delivering an excellent level of service to them and their investors. This includes understanding their needs as they grow and finding solutions for them
- Ensure that all accounting and performance reports are both accurate and timely
- Review fund drawdown, equalisation and distributions calculations. Communicate directly with investors regarding these calculations and also their tax returns and annual accounts as required
- Review Statutory Trust, Small Company, Limited Liability Partnership and Limited Partnership accounts ensuring all the disclosures are correct. Liaise with auditors and tax advisers during preparation and arranging timely filing
- Review VAT returns and compliance with relevant regulations and deadlines
- Provide appropriate challenge to clients and auditors to ensure good governance and best practices for each fund
Qualifications & Preferences:
- CA Qualified
- +2 years of relevant industry experience
- Enthusiasm to learn and confidence to deal with all levels of seniority
- Experience in fund accounting, statutory accounts for limited companies and partnerships is beneficial, but not essential
