Interim Finance Director job with our Ayrshire-based client who is in the industrial sector for an initial 6-month period. Our client will consider candidates who are available both full time or part time.
Reporting to the Managing Director, you will be responsible for:
- Preparing group monthly management accounts including profit and loss & balance sheet
- Leading and developing a small finance team across 2 locations
- Providing strategic advice and financial reports to the Board
- Supporting the integration of a newly acquired business
- Reporting to the Board and investors on the performance and key objectives of the business
- Leading the annual statutory accounts process and liaison with external auditors
- Providing commercial analysis to the leadership team explaining variances from budgeted performance
To apply, it is essential that you are a qualified accountant, highly experienced in previous Finance Director roles within SMEs. You will be extremely hands-on and ideally, you will have worked previously in businesses that have external investors. Salary: £80,000 - £90,000 p.a. or day rate equivalent.
