Interim Finance Contractor

Interim Finance Contractor job (4 days per week) with a manufacturing business based in Glasgow. This is a new role expected to last 6 months initially but could be extended.

Reporting to the Financial Controller, your main duties will include:

• Preparing monthly management accounts for individual entities
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Producing monthly group consolidated accounts
• Supporting the annual budget setting for the Group
• Variance analysis between budget and actual, providing commentary for Operational Managers
• Regularly interfacing and business partnering with Operations
• Supporting the annual statutory accounts and liaison with external auditors
• Cashflow monitoring and forecasting

This role requires an experienced senior accountant who is hands-on in the preparation of monthly management accounts. Either qualified or ‘qualified by experience’ applicants are welcomed. It would be advantageous if you have a background in manufacturing. It is also important that you have excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise with different departments.
