Finance Business Partner

As a Finance Business Partner, your main responsibility will be to influence and improve the commercial performance of the business, supporting the creation of effective strategies that deliver the key objectives of the business.

Responsibilities include:

• Negotiate contracts and provide sound commercial appraisals for investment proposals and benefit reviews
• Ensure the effective operation of the governance and controls across the business
• While much of the role will involve carrying out commercial duties for the business, the finance aspect is extremely important too
• Supporting the Head of Finance with invoicing, budgeting, forecasting, ledger management and operating revenue reports
• Acting as the finance team's main interface with the business, covering all financial activities, including planning, reporting and commercial decision support

Candidates must be possess the following:

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
• Previous business partnering experience,
• Experience of working within a commercial environment
• Strong commercial acumen
• Ability to identify key issues and opportunities
