The Loch Lomond Group is an independent distiller and blender of some of the finest and rarest Scotch Whiskies in the world. Its heritage is amongst the oldest in the industry. The Group has gone through a significant period of growth since 2014 and following the recent acquisition by Hillhouse Capital Management, a global investment firm with a focus on innovative businesses in growth industries, the business has ambitious plans.
The company has invested significantly in growing its portfolio of brands, distillery and bottling infrastructure, global distribution platform and management team. The business now generates about 70% of its revenue from more than 100 international markets, versus less than 10% in 2014.
In light of this recent growth, Loch Lomond Group are looking to make two key hires of Finance Analyst and Accounts Assistant to join them on their Catrine site. Both roles are an excellent opportunity to develop their finance career in a thriving and exciting industry.
This role will report into the Corporate Services Manager, joining their small team of finance assistants. This role will be crucial for helping to manage the organisation’s accounts payable function and will include responsibility for conducting and coordinating analysis of purchase orders, review of cashflow and borrowing requirements and review of purchase order coding.
This role will offer study support to pursue a professional qualification.
The Accounts Assistant will also report into the Corporate Services Manager, joining their small team of finance assistants. The Accounts Assistant role will focus on managing Loch Lomond Group’s purchase ledger, focusing on the timely processing of invoices, answering supplier queries and reconciliation of supplier statements. This role also has the opportunity for part-time work.
