Rutherford Cross is delighted to be retained by PXN Ventures to appoint two investment professionals to its ventures investment team based in Edinburgh: an Investment Manager / Senior Investment Manager and an Investment Analyst / Associate.
PXN backs exceptional founders from pre-seed through early Series B, investing across deep tech, enterprise software, hardware, climate technology, and life sciences, with particular strength in university and research spinouts. Its portfolio spans more than 115 companies across the UK, including high-growth businesses such as Modern Milkman, Phlo and Aveni, alongside successful exits including Street Group and Current Health.
PXN Ventures is building its Edinburgh presence as it looks to deepen its support for ambitious founders across Scotland and the UK.
These appointments are central to that growth.
The Investment Manager / Senior Investment Manager
This role will source opportunities, lead investments end-to-end, represent PXN on portfolio company boards and build relationships across the founder and investor ecosystem.
The Investment Analyst / Associate
This role will work alongside the investment team on live transactions, supporting due diligence, financial analysis, investment papers and pipeline management, while developing relationships across the Scottish and Northern investment ecosystem.
Both roles offer the opportunity to join an active, hands-on investor at an exciting stage of its growth.
