The Company currently operates two windfarms and has an extensive portfolio of wind and battery storage assets at various stages of development. The projects are proactively managed from site identification through to operation, with a detail-oriented approach. Muirhall is one of very few independent UK renewable energy developers of its scale, with in-house expertise, experience and position to capture the expansion opportunity within the current market.
Muirhall prides itself in working in partnership with landowners, land users, and local residents. The Company believes that community investment will encourage stronger relationships between local communities and the renewables sector, delivered through distinct initiatives. The Company offers shared ownership opportunities for communities to own up to 10% of their local wind farm project and its Initial Investment Fund supports communities throughout the construction of the project, delivering financial support.
The business has real ambitions for further growth in the coming years and has identified the need to appoint a Group Financial Controller. The appointed individual will have the benefit of working alongside the Finance Director and the existing team who will share their knowledge of the business and allow the Group Financial Controller to manage and develop the team. The objective of the role will be to oversee robust financial controls and processes, driving change and making better use of financial analysis tools and technology to support the business.
This is an exciting opportunity for a talented finance professional with the desire to join a highly successful renewables business which also offers opportunity for career advancement as the organisation grows. It is crucial that the appointed candidate is a driven and commercially minded qualified accountant with the ability to improve financial processes within an expanding business.
